If you are interested in participating in the 2018 African American Heritage High School Trivia Bowl, please come to room 129 on Monday, December 18 or Tuesday, December 19 between 8:00 and 8:15 am. You will meet with Ms. C. Gordon, Ms. Barnes, Mr. Conyers, Mr. Ferguson and Ms. Beverly. More information will be shared with you on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

The NRHS Cheerleading team is collecting donations for “99 for the 1,”  which is a homeless ministry that provides every day essentials to the homeless. The cheerleaders are collecting men’s and women’s winter clothing, blankets, hand/foot warmers, shoes, backpacks, etc. Donations can be placed in the designated box located in the main office by Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Please let a cheerleader or Coach Tibbitt know if you have any questions.

Any Boys’ Volleyball team member that has not turned in their uniform should turn them in to Ms. Brett’s office by Friday, December 15.

Off-season conditioning for your Class 5 Region A Championship Football team will begin Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 3:15 – 5:45 pm in the Weight Room. If you have any questions, please see Coach Coccoli or Coach Ferguson.

Are you interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons? D & D is a table adventure game where players come together to create a collaborative story. If you are interested, see Ms. Granger in room 104 to pick up a permission slip.

Please don’t forget to bring your Angel Tree gifts to Ms. Simmons (room 118) or Mr. Bartholomew (room 121) by Friday, December 15. There are still some angels left on the tree for those who are interested. FBLA thanks you for your help!

The Teachers vs Students Volleyball game tickets will be on sale from now until Tuesday, December 19 while supplies last. There are a limited number of seats so get your ticket early. See Mrs. Kemp in room 114 or Mr. Bartholomew in room 121 to purchase your tickets. Tickets are $5.00 each. Money helps to support our NRHS FBLA competition fund.

Warriors:  Effective immediately for numerous reasons:  Students will NOT be allowed to return to the parking lot or their vehicles unless they have a written pass from an administrator. If you have forgotten an item, you must have a pass from an administrator. We thank you, in advance, for your understanding and cooperation.

On Monday, December 18 at 6:00 pm, the Nansemond River Chorus, Concert Band and Jazz Band will present their Winter concert.  The concert is free and open to the public.
