Vote one – Vote All! Voting for Homecoming King and Queen is today and tomorrow. Check the NRHS website, Facebook page and Twitter feed for the link to vote. One vote for King and one vote for Queen so make them count! The token is your student ID number.
Anyone interested in Wrestling this season tryouts will begin on Monday, November 6 at 3:25 pm in the Wrestling room. The Wrestling team is also looking for managers for this upcoming season. If anyone is interested, see Coach Seed on Monday.
Warriors: Do you need community service hours? Anchor Club is meeting in the cafeteria today after school.
The Anime Club will be having a meeting Thursday, November 1 in room 103 after school. There is no activity bus so please make sure you have a ride home.
The Beta Club will meet on Thursday, November 2 after school in the Library.
If you plan to have an early dismissal on Friday, November 3, please start turning in notes from a parent/guardian. The note must have a parent signature and phone number. No students will be allowed to leave without a pass.
All 10th grade Driver’s Ed students: Don’t forget that this Wednesday, November 1 at 5:30 pm we will have a parent-teen driving night in the auditorium. Bring a parent and receive extra credit. If you have any questions, please see a Driver Ed teacher.
The Community Service Club has surpassed its Socktober goal of 100 pairs of socks for the women and children at Genieve Shelter. Donations are still being accepted in room 101 through the end of the week. Thank you Warriors for your generous spirit and remembering others in need.
The Science Club will be collecting plastic bags from November 6 through the end of March. Please bring the bags to room 219. Thanks for your past support!
Boys’ Basketball tryouts will be held Monday, November 6. JV tryouts for 9th and 10th graders will be 3:15 – 6:00 pm and Varsity tryouts for juniors and seniors will be 6:00 – 8:30 pm. You must have a current physical on file and at least an overall 2.0 GPA.
Junior Parent Night Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Nansemond River Library.
Seniors: Please send us a copy of all college acceptance letters and military enlistment documents. We want to celebrate with you and add you to our “Warrior Wall!”
