NR LogoSeniors:  Cap & Gown pictures will be taken in the Auditorium on February 21 and February 22. Sign up in the Main Office beginning Monday, February 11.

Auditions for this year's Black History Month assembly, "Uplifting Music that Brings Us Together," will be held on Thursday, February 14 in the Auditorium after school. If you can sing, dance, act or step, please come and try out. We are looking for 6-7 awesome acts. Please provide a print out of any lyrics or text.

Softball tryouts will be Monday, February 18 from  5:30 - 7:30 pm and Tuesday, February 19 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Transportation will not be provided on Monday, and middle school participants will need to ride the activity bus on Tuesday. Anyone interested in trying out must have a VHSL physical on file and have passed 5 classes. If any further information is needed, contact Coach Gabe Rogers at Cherry Middle School.

AP Testing will take place in May. Requests for financial assistance forms for AP tests are due to Mrs. Lascano in Guidance by Friday, February 15.

Staff and student drivers: Please do not use the bus entrance and exit from 7:45 - 8:05 am and 3:00 - 3:06 pm.

Warriors: As we begin the 2nd semester, you are reminded that only those students who are eating breakfast or purchasing food are allowed in the cafeteria. Otherwise, it is an unauthorized area. Thank you in advanced for following this expectation.

The Ladies of Distinction will be selling Valentine's Candy Grams in the cafeteria during all 4 lunch shifts from January 30 - February 11. Candy Grams will be delivered on February 14. 

Block 2 Workkeys Reading tutoring for those notified by Ms. Bibbo will be February 8.  Block 7 Workkeys Writing tutoring for those notified by Ms. Bibbo will be February 4 - February 8. Be sure to take advantage of these tutoring opportunities.

10th Grade Field Trip Alert: The CTE Non-Traditional Extravaganza Trip for 10th Graders is Thursday, February 21, 2019. This trip will allow students the opportunity to meet and interact with professionals in non-traditional occupations in the Suffolk and Hampton Roads business communities. For only $5.00, students can receive lunch including a Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Students can get an Interest Form and permission slip from their English or CTE teacher. Students going on the trip must be dressed professionally. No sneakers or jeans are allowed.

"More than Sad: Teen Depression" FREE presentations for Parents and Community will be held:
Wednesday, February 20 at 6:30 pm at Nansemond River

Junior Night will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the library. We hope to see you there!
